<p><span style="font-family: '';">　　全会首先听取并审议通过了刘鹏同志所作的中国奥委会2016年工作报告。报告指出，2016年是我国奥林匹克运动和体育事业改革发展的攻坚之年和收获之年，中国奥委会坚决按照以习近平同志为核心的党中央的部署要求，认真学习十八大精神和习近平总书记系列重要讲话，贯彻落实党和国家领导人关于体育工作的指示精神，科学组织、系统备战、团结拼搏、突破创新，在以里约奥运会为中心的多项国际综合性运动会上实现了运动成绩和精神文明双丰收的参赛目标，全力推进北京冬奥会和杭州亚运会的备战和筹办工作，配合国家总体外交和发展战略，大力开展对外交流与合作，在全民健身、运动员退役保障、反兴奋剂、市场开发、体育文化与宣传、奥林匹克教育等各领域工作成效突出，为里约奥运周期画上了圆满的句号，为中国奥林匹克运动和体育事业可持续发展开创了新局面。</span></p>
<p>　　会议通过了中国奥委会人事变更提案，选举苟仲文为中国奥委会主席。苟仲文主席在发言中表示，将与全体委员一道，充分把握举办2022年冬奥会的历史契机和当前体育事业发展的大好形势，积极探索当代体育运动发展的规律和特点，团结奋斗，开拓创新，为推动我国从体育大国向体育强国迈进、实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦不懈奋斗。</p>
